We plan, design and enable capital and infrastructure programmes
Our focus on business outcomes ensures that we solve our client’s overall problem, and deliver a valuable operational asset. Our aim is to hand over the asset in a perfect, ready-to-go condition, and ensure through proper training and change management that the client can operate it successfully to achieve business benefits.
- BAA – We provide professional Project Managers and Technologists to BAA’s IT Applications Systems group for the management of over 100 IT projects.
We support client executives in their decision- making – evaluating and planning investments in capital equipment, facilities and change programmes.
Feasibility studies, business cases and investment appraisals require consideration of all the factors that can impact an investment decision. The scope is sometimes purely financial, but more often involves a whole range of non-financial and qualitative factors, such as regulatory constraint, reputation and policy mandates.
- St Helena – We conducted a feasibility study on how best to provide air and sea access to St Helena and are now supporting design development and advising on procurement of a Design, Build and Operate contractor for the airport.
- IMIDRO – We undertook a due diligence exercise for a group of IMIDRO’s investors, in the course of which we led IMIDRO through a strategic planning exercise to prioritise $10Bn of investment spending.
We plan, design and enable programmes of ICT-enabled and organisational change
Seldom is it that the technical challenges alone cause problems on IT-related projects, so we address the whole business issue, integrating new technology with changes in people, processes and facilities.
- Department for Children, Schools and Families – Contact Point – We provide and manage a multi-disciplinary team to precipitate change and embed this major policy initiative affecting every child under 18.
- Northern Ireland Civil Service – We helped deliver a programme to introduce IT Shared Service working, from business case review and cultural assessment through to design of service processes and procurement of helpdesk tools.
