We're the Most Popular Graduate Recruiter - again!
For the third year running, we have been voted the most popular graduate employer in our sector in the Target National Graduate Recruitment Awards. The votes were cast by the graduates themselves, almost 30,000 of them covering eight key business sectors.
Atkins came out top of the pile among employers in Construction (which includes consultants). The prestigious awards, supported by the Daily Telegraph, attract nominations from across the business world.
Head of recruitment, Karen Wallbridge comments: "This is a real vote of confidence for all the hard work we put in to ensure that Atkins' qualities receive the praise they deserve; and we're delighted to have been recognised directly by graduates themselves, winning the award in consecutive years."
The accolade reflects graduates' ratings in terms of familiarity, perception and opinion of the organisation as a prospective employer and graduate recruiter.

TopAtkins reveals concept designs for Trump International Hotel and Tower
We recently unveiled a concept design image for the new signature building to be built on property developer Nakheel's man-made iconic island, the 'Palm Jumeirah', off the west coast of Dubai.
Standing more than 255m tall, the 60-storey Trump International Hotel and Tower is set to form a spectacular gateway to the island. It features a 300-room five-star hotel, 400 residential apartments, boutique offices, retail and leisure facilities that include a gym, high end spa, access to a private beach and a number of signature restaurants.
The landmark development will be the centrepiece building on the Golden Mile, an exclusive residential and retail boulevard. Our design for the Trump International Hotel and Tower involves two asymmetrical halves with stainless steel, glass and stone facades.
The development is the first partnership between Nakheel Hotels & Resorts and The Trump Organization, which is headed up by President and Chairman Donald Trump.
TopPedal Power to Steer Away from the Car
A recent addition to our staff benefits package puts people in the saddle at a great saving and, more importantly, encourages green travel.
Bike4work is a government-backed initiative designed to promote access to more environmentally friendly transport to work. It allows employees the opportunity to save tax and NI on the cost of a bike.
The launch is part of our Green Travel policy and there has been an excellent take-up. For many people, Bike4work enables a first step in greener travel.
So how does it work? By choosing to reduce their salary over 12 pay periods, staff are provided with the use of a bike and safety equipment for 36 months. As long as the bike is used primarily for work purposes it is free from tax and NI.
