How to search
Global Search Area
We have a variety of UK and international opportunities. Click on the region you are interested in to search vacancies in that area.
When you click on the UK or USA you will be given a choice of Faithful+Gould or Atkins. F+G is part of the Atkins Group, if you click on this you will be directed to their search pages.
UK Search Area
Search by specific field
There are a number of search fields that may be completed to ensure you return relevant roles. Please note, if you do not complete at least one field you will see over 1,000 search results.
The searchable fields are:
Reference
If you already know the reference number of a job you are interested in type this into the free text box. Then click on Search and Apply.
World Region
If you are only interested in jobs in a certain area, choose the World Region you are interested in.
Region
You can then choose a Region. Please note this option is only available if you have selected a World Region.
Location
You can then narrow your search down further to a Location. Please note this option is only available if you have selected a Region.
Discipline
If you want to restrict your search to a particular discipline area (e.g. Engineers - Mechanical) then please make your choice from the drop down list.
You can select more than one discipline by clicking on “multiple select”.
Industry
If you want to restrict your search to a particular industry area (e.g. Water) then please make your choice from the drop down list.
You can select more than one industry area by clicking on “multiple select”.
Text Search
If you want to search on key words that are of interest to you (e.g. bridge engineering) then please use the free text search box.
Then click on Search and Apply
The system also allows you to register interest in a particular area even if there are no current vacancies.
Register for future vacancy email alerts by entering your email address in the box on the Search Results page. This will take you to the Job Alerts page.
Your Job Alerts
Your Job Alerts allows you to select and save the search criteria you wish to base your job alerts on. You will then receive an email alert every time a job is posted to the website which matches your search criteria.
- Click Your Job Alerts on the left hand menu
- Starting with World Region, choose the relevant options from each field and then click Add search criteria. Repeat this process again to build a search using multiple criteria
- Once you are happy with your search click Submit.
- You will then be asked to enter an email address and password. Once you have submitted this, you will then receive an email asking you to activate your job alerts.
