Travelling from East Or West
Leave the M62 junction 11. From the roundabout follow the signs for Birchwood A574.
Continue along the single carriageway for approx one mile. On approaching the next roundabout carry straight on across onto Birchwood Way continue for approximately 0.6 miles to the next roundabout (The Birchwood Park Roundabout) turning right onto Faraday Street, you have now entered Birchwood Park.
Travelling from the South.
Leave theM6 at junction 21, from the slip road carry straight on across the roundabout onto Woolston Grange Avenue. Continue for approx 1.8 miles crossing four roundabouts. At the next roundabout (college Place) turn right onto Birchwood way, continue for approx 0.9 miles to next roundabout (George Duckworth Island) carry straight on across, continue along Birchwood Way fro approx 0.4 miles, at the roundabout (The Birchwood Park Roundabout)turn left onto Faraday Street. You have now entered Birchwood Park.
Travelling from the North.
Exit M6 southbound at junction 21a, following signs for M62 - Manchester. Exit M62 at next junction (junction11). From the roundabout follow signs for Birchwood A574.
Continue along the single carriageway for approx one mile. On approaching the next roundabout carry straight on across onto Birchwood Way continue for approximately 0.6 miles to the next roundabout (The Birchwood Park Roundabout) turning right onto Faraday Street, you have now entered Birchwood Park.
Directions by rail
Trains leave Manchester Piccadilly for Birchwood Railway Station; the journey takes 18 minutes. Trains leaving Liverpool Lime Street call at Warrington Central then Birchwood Railway Station (please be aware that not all trains stopping at Warrington also stop at Birchwood). The journey takes 35 minutes.
Please note that Birchwood Station has no taxi rank. Staff intending to travel from the station to Chadwick House by taxi would be advised to book one in advance, or at least obtain numbers of local taxi companies before travelling.
At peak hours there is a bus from the station to Birchwood Park Estates (BPE).
Directions from the airport
By Air, from Manchester Airport
Take the M56 heading West from the airport towards the M6 and Chester. Leave the M56 at Junction 9 for the M6 towards PRESTON and the North. Leave the M6 at Junction 21 and follow directions as from the SOUTH
Car Parking
Continue along Faraday Street until you reach The Centre (large orange coloured sign on the building). Turn left, and the visitor car park entrance is on the left.
