Contracts awarded to deliver Arup Atkins designed tunnels for Crossrail - 22 December 2010
Crossrail Ltd has announced its intention to award the main contracts for the largest UK tunnelling works in over a decade. The winning joint ventures will deliver the Arup Atkins designed twin-bore tunnels that will run from Royal Oak to Pudding Mill Lane and Royal Victoria Dock.

Atkins's renewable energy work in Ireland scoops major industry award - 20 December 2010
Atkins has won the Renewable Energy Award at this year's CMG Building and Design Awards in Dublin. The award commends Atkins's contribution, innovation and excellence within the industry, recognising its achievements in the application of renewable energy solutions in Ireland including such projects as Ballybofey Leisure Centre and Kill Hill Wind Farm. The company was said to have demonstrated extreme capability and leadership in renewable energy innovation and sustainability.
