Jason Morrow has been appointed head of pedestrian modelling within the Cities, Spaces and Development Planning team of Atkins’ Transportation division.

In his new role Jason will support the design teams working on rail stations, airports and public realm projects, applying passenger flow design best practise and relevant standards.

Jason joins from URS Corporation and has a wealth of experience in transport planning consultancy, specialising in pedestrian modelling. He has assessed over 150 stations and airport planning studies in the UK and overseas, identifying value engineering construction cost savings and delivering design know-how to meet future passenger demand.

Farshid Kamali, practice director for Atkins’ Cities, Spaces and Development Planning, said: “Jason joins the team at an exciting time for our practice with pedestrian modelling input required across high profile design projects in the UK and the Middle East. Jason will work across Atkins’ Transportation division to support our existing commitments and build new business.”
