Linda Ashton, technical director in Atkins’ Energy UK & Europe business, will discuss how UK companies can take advantage of overseas decommissioning opportunities at the Nuclear Industry Association (NIA) Nuclear 2016 conference on Thursday 1 December.

In a panel session focussing on international opportunities in decommissioning, Linda will look at how the UK’s nuclear decommissioning expertise is in demand around the world and what UK companies can do to take advantage of this. Linda will be joined on the panel by Greg Willetts, vice president consultancy, Clean Energy Europe at AMEC Foster Wheeler, Andy Hooper, managing director of Westlakes Engineering Ltd, Rebecca Weston, strategy and technical director at Sellafield Ltd, and Mark Rouse, business director – Japan, at Cavendish Nuclear.
