News releases 2016

Regional market trends and focus on the energy mix combining nuclear, power, renewables, and oil and gas will be set out in a series of presentations as Atkins exhibits at Water Energy Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) in Dubai from 4 to 6 October.

Head of Power Middle East Callum McLaurin, and head of strategy David Haboubi will present Atkins’ Energy Middle East during the three day exhibition and conference. Topics to be covered will include Atkins involvement in projects incorporating various technologies, the future of sustainability, asset management, and the regional push for collaboration between the types of energy and power generation in the UAE and region.

The 18th WETEX is one of the region’s biggest events hosted by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), and attended by key investors and decision makers from energy, water and environment sectors. This year’s theme is ‘At the forefront of sustainability’, and the event has been organised under the umbrella of Green Week – a series of community-orientated activities across Dubai. The exhibition and conference will also showcase Dubai’s vision of sustainability and future as a smart city, integrating power and renewables.

During all three days of the event, Atkins will be exhibiting its capabilities in power & renewables, nuclear and oil and gas at Stand CH14, in the UK Pavilion. To find out more about Atkins’ Energy business, visit www.atkinsglobal.com/energy
