Atkins hires new director of business development for Energy Americas oil and gas team - 12 May 2017
Atkins has appointed Chris Sherertz as the new director of business development in its Energy Americas oil and gas business.
Based in our Houston office, Chris has forty years of experience in the offshore industry and a significant track record in leading the development of emerging and mature markets. Chris will play a fundamental role in growing our key client relationships to create business opportunities that strategically align with our Energy Americas targets.
His experience covers various business development/sales roles, focusing on semisubmersibles, FPSOs, SPARs, TLPs and FLNG facilities. Chris joins us from KBR where he was responsible for all the upstream sales in the Americas and West Africa.
Chris has a B.S. in civil engineering and started his career as a highway assistant resident engineer before moving over to oil and gas where he spent some time designing fixed offshore drilling and production platforms before moving on to a career in business development.
