In a drive for greater efficiency, the UK Home Office set out its shared services agenda and engaged Atkins to help transform its systems and processes. Atkins has been instrumental in moving the Government department towards its new estate management model, meaning better value for money, a more effective estates organisation, more practical ways of delivering estate requirements to meet business needs and improved responsiveness of estates services.

We provided a fully secure, 24-hour accommodation helpdesk for more than 50,000 Home Office customers and gave 400 users access to Atkins Intelligence (Ai), our integrated web-based facilities management system. We also provided independent and consistent reporting and ensured management information was shared proactively to enable better-informed decision-making and highlight areas for future investment.
