Oasis of the Seas Cruise Liner

United States | SECTOR: Tourism & Leisure

The 220,000 gross tonne Oasis of the Seas is the largest cruise ship in the world, stretching to a remarkable 47 metres wide at the waterline and reaching over 65 metres in width on the upper decks. Atkins provided architectural and interior design services for the large luxury cruise liner owned by Royal Caribbean.

The vessel features 2,700 staterooms with capacity for 5,400 guests at double occupancy. At 360 metres long and 65 metres high, this next generation of cruise ship allows a larger number of guests and an even broader spectrum of entertainment and experience. It includes the first park at sea and first carousel at sea as well as an ice rink, climbing wall and more. If stood on its stern it would be taller than the Burj Al Arab and the Eiffel Tower.
